Abstract
INDONESIA: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi manajemen berita berbasis mobile dengan sistem workflow approval yang terstruktur, efisien, dan aman. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam proses persetujuan berita internal yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual, lambat, dan tidak terdokumentasi dengan baik. Sistem dibangun menggunakan React Native sebagai antarmuka pengguna dan Express.js untuk backend. Fitur utama mencakup mekanisme persetujuan berbasis bobot supervisor, serta fitur ringkasan otomatis isi berita dari dokumen PDF berbasis teks menggunakan algoritma TextRank. Penera-pan algoritma ini bertujuan untuk mempercepat proses pengambilan keputusan dan membantu atasan dalam memahami inti berita secara cepat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan keamanan dalam pengelolaan berita digital di organisasi. ENGLISH: This study aims to develop a mobile-based news management application equipped with a structured, efficient, and secure workflow approval system. The application addresses issues in the internal news approval process, which was pre-viously conducted manually, slowly, and without proper documentation. The sys-tem is developed using React Native for the frontend and Express.js for the backend. Key features include a supervisor-weighted approval mechanism, and an automatic news content summarization feature from text-based PDF documents using the TextRank algorithm. The implementation of these algorithms is intended to accelerate decision-making and help supervisors grasp the core of news quickly. The testing results show that the system enhances efficiency, transparency, and se-curity in digital news management within organizations.
