Abstract
INDONESIA: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi Mollusca dan mengevaluasi peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah penggunaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 3D (Define, Design, Development), dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah menengah atas di Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat, dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas X yang dipilih secara purposif; instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli pedagogis, dan guru biologi, serta soal pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis; data peningkatan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalized gain (n-gain). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai validasi tertinggi dari guru biologi sebesar 92,8% dengan kategori sangat layak, serta rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 46 dan post-test sebesar 71 dengan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,49 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang, mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan LKPD secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi Mollusca. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi Mollusca yang dikembangkan dengan model 3D telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dan terbukti meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi di sekolah menengah atas. ENGLISH: This study aimed to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on critical thinking skills on the topic of Mollusca and to evaluate the improvement in students' critical thinking skills following its use. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 3D development model (Define, Design, Development), conducted at a senior high school in Bandung Regency, West Java, with 10th-grade students selected purposively as the research subjects; research instruments included validation forms completed by subject matter experts, pedagogical experts, and biology teachers, as well as pre-test and post-test 2026. Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi dan Sains (BIOEDUSAINS) 9(4):1061-1080 1062 questions to measure critical thinking skills; improvement data were analyzed using the normalized gain (n-gain) test. The results showed that the developed LKPD received the highest validation score from biology teachers at 92.8%, categorized as highly suitable, with an average pre-test score of 46 and post-test score of 71 yielding an n-gain of 0.49 in the moderate category, indicating that the use of the LKPD effectively improved students' critical thinking skills on the Mollusca topic. This study concludes that the critical thinking skills-based LKPD on the Mollusca topic developed using the 3D model has met the feasibility criteria and is proven to improve the critical thinking skills of 10th-grade students, making it suitable for use in biology instruction at the senior high school level.
