Abstract
INDONESIA : Mahasiswa anggota ormas XTC identik dengan citra buruk organisasinya dan dianggap cenderung berperilaku nakal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji adakah pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswa anggota ormas XTC di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa ormas XTC Kota Bandung dengan sampel sebanyak 186 responden. Analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswa adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap kepercayaan diri sebesar 21,4% dengan nilai sig. 0,036. Secara parsial diketahui bahwa dukungan sosial mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri secara signifikan dengan nilai sig. 0,008 dan koefisien determinasi senilai 62,7% (0,627 R2). ENGLISH : Student members of the XTC mass organization are synonymous with a bad image of their organization and are considered to be prone to naughty behavior. The aim of this research is to test whether there is an influence of social support on the self-confidence of students who are members of the XTC mass organization in Bandung City. This research is quantitative research conducted on students of the XTC Bandung City mass organization with a sample of 186 respondents. The analysis used to test the effect of social support on student self-confidence is simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that social support has a significant and positive influence on self-confidence of 21.4% with a sig. 0.036. Partially, it is known that social support influences self-confidence significantly with a sig value. 0.008 and the coefficient of determination is 62.7% (0.627 R2).
