Abstract
The research purpose to describe the existence of a shift in missionary communication carried out by the preachers of the Persis. The method used in this study through a qualitative approach to the method of documentation, observation, and interviews. The results of this study indicate that there is a change in the paradigm of propaganda communication patterns carried out by the preachers of the Persis. The paradigm shift was caused by (1) the existence of the Persis Central Leadership policy under the leadership of Ustadz Latief Mukhtar who brought Peris as an open and inclusive Islamic organization, (2) influenced by the development of knowledge of the Persis preachers themselves who increased knowledge in the field of religion and sosial studies (3) are influenced by sosial networks in line with the changing times.
