Abstract
SCADA merupakan salah satu cara untuk mempermudah proses Water Treatment Plant (WTP), dan otomasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas air bersih yang dihasilkan. Salah satu proses Water Treatment Plant (WTP) yaitu sedimentasi yang berfungsi untuk memisahkan air bersih dan lumpur. PLC digunakan sebagai Master Terminal Unit (MTU) atau sentral dari sistem yang berfungsi mengendalikan masukan dan keluaran sistem. Water Treatment Plant pada proses sedimentasi ini dibuat dua bagian sistem yaitu sistem manual dan sistem otomatis. Kedua sistem ini dapat bekerja secara berpengunci. Pada sistem otomatis digunakan sensor kekeruhan air sebagai input untuk pengambilan data akuisisi pada SCADA. Selenoid valve sebagai aktuator terbuka dan tertutup sesuai dengan respon yang diberikan sensor. Semua elemen dari sistem SCADA tersebut sudah bisa beroperasi dengan baik pada proses sedimentasi Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Selenoid valve akan terbuka dan membuang lumpur ketika sensor membaca nilai kekeruhan air lebih dari 14 NTU. SCADA is one way to simplify the process of Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and automation can improve the quality of clean water produced. One of the processes of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is sedimentation that works for clean air and mud. PLC as a Master Terminal Unit (MTU) or central to the system used. The water treatment plant in the sedimentation process is made in two parts, namely a manual system and an automatic system. Both of these systems can work separately. In this system, the air sensor is used as input to retrieve data on SCADA. Selenoid valve as an open and closed actuator in accordance with the response given by the sensor. All elements of the SCADA system can be done well in the sedimentation process of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The selenoid valve will open and remove the compilation sensor mud reading the air turbidity value of more than 14 NTU.
