Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk bahan ajar berupa modul elektronik dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri pada konsep ikatan kimia berorientasi kemampuan representasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Design Based Research (DBR) yang terdiri dari dua tahap utama, yaitu; 1) tahap pembuatan produk meliputi tahap analisis, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan desain dan tahap pengembangan produk; 2) tahap pengujian produk berupa validasi dan uji kelayakan. Bahan ajar yang dihasilkan berupa modul elektronik yang memiliki karakteristik penyajian materi secara inkuiri dengan menghubungkan tiga level representasi kimia (makroskopik, subnikroskopik, dan simbolik) yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk teks, gambar, animasi, flash, dan video. Validasi aspek konten dan tampilan dilakukan melalui pertimbangan 3 ahli. Secara umum hasil nilai rata-rata uji validasi dalam bentuk rhitung yaitu antara 0,77-0,81 sehingga modul dinyatakan valid. Selanjutnya Produk diuji coba kepada responden mahasiswa sebanyak 15 orang menggunakan instrumen uji kelayakan. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukan bahwa persentase kelayakan pada setiap aspek ada pada rentang 90-98% yang menyatakan setuju terhadap semua kriteria. Hal ini menunjukkan modul elektronik yang telah dibuat layak untuk digunakan. This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of electronic modules with steps of inquiry-based learning on the concept of chemical bonds oriented representation capabilities. The research method is Design-Based Research Method (DBR) which consists of two main stages, that is; 1) the product manufacturing phase includes analysis, design development, design development and product development; 2) validation product testing and feasibility tests. The instructional material produced is in the form of an electronic module that has the material presentation of material in inquiry with the relationship of three levels of chemical representation (macroscopic, sub-microscopic, and symbolic) used in the form of text, images, animation, flash, and video. Contents are carried out through the consideration of 3 experts. The average value of the average results of the validation test in the form of rcount is between 0.77-0.81 so the module is declared valid. Furthermore, the product was tried for student respondents as many as 15 people using the feasibility test instrument. The results of the feasibility test show that the percentage of feasibility in each aspect is in the range of 90-98% which states agree to all criteria. This shows that the electronic modules that have been made are suitable for use.
