Abstract

ENGLISH The heroine and anti-heroine as the main character give an influence on the adventure formula in Inside Out (2015) movie. The hero in the movie has supported the adventure formula by using the journey method. The main characters become the heroine to support the adventure formula in the movie. Therefore, the research has two problems of study. They are: (1) Why the heroine and the anti-heroine in Inside Out movie can be united? And (2) How does the heroine in Inside Out movie follow adventure formula? In analyzing the subject of the materials, this research uses structuralism. Structuralism research examines the patterns of meaning which emerge from the data and there are often presented in the participant’s own words. This research will prove the adventure formula theory that is applied in the movie, based on Cawelty, Campbell, and Gladys. INDONESIA Tokoh pahlawan perempuan dan anti-pahlawan sebagai karakter utama memberikan pengaruh terhadap formula petualangan dalam film Inside Out (2015). Pahlawan perempuan dalam film telah mendukung formula petualangan dengan menggunakan metode perjalanan. Karakter utama menjadi pahlawan untuk mendukung formula petualangan dalam film.Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memiliki dua masalah penelitian. yaitu: (1) Mengapa heroine dan anti-heroine dalam film Inside Out dapat disatukan? Dan (2) Bagaimana pahlawan wanita dalam film Inside Out mengikuti formula petualangan? Dalam menganalisis subjek materi, penelitian ini menggunakan strukturalisme. Penelitian strukturalisme meneliti pola-pola makna yang muncul dari data dan sering disajikan dalam kata-kata partisipan sendiri. Penelitian ini akan membuktikan teori formula petualangan yang diterapkan dalam film, berdasarkan Cawelty, Campbell, dan Gladys.
