Abstract
ENGLISH : This study aims to find out the picture of the quality of life of blind people as well as memorizing the Qur'an. This research serves so that parents can provide direction and support to develop the potential of their children and for the community not to underestimate blind children or other children with disabilities. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological design. The subjects of this study were 3 men and women with visual impairments who were memorizing al-Quran at the same time as lecturing. The results of this study indicate that the al-Qur'an memorizer has every aspect of quality of life. In the aspect of physical health, all three subjects can carry out daily activities despite finding a barrier but they can overcome the obstacle. Furthermore, in psychological aspects, the three subjects felt happy when they could memorize the Qur'an while studying, besides that there was a sense of closeness and obedience to God and always took wisdom from every incident they experienced. For the next aspect of social relations, the three subjects have good friendships where mutual respect and help when finding difficulties. Besides, support from the family has a very important role in the life of the subject. And on environmental aspects, the three subjects have different environments. Subject 1 and subject 3 live in a boarding school environment that always interacts with others and helps develop the ability to memorize the Qur'an. Whereas subject 2 lives in a quiet residential environment and rarely associates. Thus all three subjects have a good quality of life. INDONESIA : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu gambaran quality of life penyandang tunanetra penghafal al-qur’an. Penelitian ini berfungsi agar orang tua bisa memberikan arahan dan dukungan untuk mengembangkan potensi anaknya dan untuk masyarakat supaya tidak memandang sebelah mata terhadap anak-anak tunanetra ataupun anak difabel lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan rancangan fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang laki-laki dan perempuan penyandang tunanetra perolehan yang merupakan penghafal al-qur’an sekaligus berkuliah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tunanetra penghafal al-qur’an memiliki setiap aspek dari quality of life. Dalam aspek kesehatan fisik, ketiga subjek dapat melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari meskipun mendapati suatu hambatan tetapi mereka dapat mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Selanjutnya dalam aspek psikologis, ketiga subjek merasa senang ketika dapat menghafal al-qur’an sekaligus kuliah, selain itu ada rasa kedekatan dan keta’atan kepada Allah dan selalu mengambil hikmah dari setiap kejadian yang mereka alami. Untuk aspek selanjutnya yaitu hubungan sosial, ketiga subjek memiliki hubungan pertemanan yang baik dimana adanya saling menghargai dan membantu ketika menemukan kesulitan. Selain itu, dukungan dari keluarga memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan subjek. Dan pada aspek lingkungan, ketiga subjek memiliki lingkungan yang berbeda. Subjek 1 dan subjek 3 tinggal di lingkungan pesantren yang selalu berinteraksi dengan orang lain dan membantu mengembangkan kemampuan menghafal al-qur’an. Sedangkan subjek 2 tinggal di lingkungan perumahan yang sepi dan dan jarang sekali bergaul. Dengan demikian ketiga subjek memiliki quality of life yang baik.
