Abstract

INDONESIA Bahasa penting bagi manusia dalam interaksi. Dalam sebuah interaksi harus ada pihak yang terlibat dalam komunikasi: pembicara dan pendengar, komunikasi yang efektiv terjadi ketika pembicara dan pendengar mengerti tentang apa yang mereka bicarakan. Pembicara mengexpresikan emosi mereka menanyakan pertanyaan, meminta sesuatu, melakukan sesuatu itu disebut dengan tindak tutur. Dengan melakukan penelitian penulis bermaksud untuk mencari 1). Apa illocutionari act yang digunakan oleh karakter-karakter dominan dalam naskah film Alice Through The Looking Glass sesuai dengan kategori dengan Searle? 2). Apa strategi yang digunakan oleh karakter dominan dalam naskah film Alice Through The Looking Glass untuk menyadari illocutionary act? Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teori dari Austin dalam menjelaskan tentang tindak tutur, seperti locutionary act, illocutionary act and perlocutionary act. Dan penulis menggunakan teori dari Searle untuk menjelaskan tipe-tipe tindak tutur ada 5 tipe yang termasuk kedalam kategori illocutionary act; directive, representive, commissive, expressive dan declarative, illocutionary act strategi adalah langsung dan tidak langsung. Untuk menganalisis data penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif konten analisis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif konten analisis untuk menganalisis kategori- kategori illocutionary act dan strategi-strategi yang digunkaan oleh karakter dominan dalam naskah film Alice Through The Looking Glass untuk menyadari illocutionary act. Data yang digunakan daalam penelitian ini diambil dari naskah film Alice Through The Looking Glass tahun 2016 dari Amerika tentang petualangan pantasi yang di sutradarai oleh James Bobin dan naskah film ditulis oleh Linda Woolverton. Penulis menemukan tipe-tipe tindak tutur dalam naskah film Alice Through The Looking Glass yaitu directive, representive, commissive dan expressive. Penulis tidak menemukan tipe deklaratif dalam naskah film Alice Through The Looking Glass total data yang ditemukan ada 64 diantaranya 37 data untuk tipe directive, 14 data untuk representive, 9 data untuk tipe expressive dan 5 data untuk tipe commissive dan penulis tidak menemukan data declarative. Strategi-strategi illocutionary act terdiri dari langsung dan tidak langsung hasil menyatakan bahwa ada 9 data strategi langsung dan 4 data strategi tidak langsung. ENGLISH Language is infortant for human beings in interaction. In interaction there must be the participants in communications: speaker and hearers, the communications meaningful when the speaker and hearer understand each other about what they are talking about and there are generally communicative goals associated with every utterance. Speaker express their emotions, ask questions, make requests, commit themselves to action, it is called by speech act. By doing research, the writer intends to find out 1) What illocutionary acts are used by dominant characters in Alice Through The Looking Glass movie script based on Searle category And 2) What strategies are used by dominant characters in Alice Through The Looking Glass movie script to realize the illocutionary acts. In this research, the writer used Austin’s theory in explaining speech act itslepf, such as locutionary act, illocutionary act, perlocutionary act. So Searle’s theory for explains the types of speech act. There are five type of categories illocution acts; directive, representive, commissive, expressive and declarative, strategies of illocutionary act there are direct and indirect. To analyze the data, the writer used qualitative method. This research employed qualitative method to illocutionary acts category and strategies are used by dominant characters in Alice Through The Looking Glass movie script to realize the illocutionary acts. The data used in this reserach are taken from Alice Through The Looking Glassmovie script 2016 American fantasy adventure film directed by James Bobin and written by Linda Woolverton. The writer found types of speech act in Alice Through The Looking Glass movie script, there are directive, representive, commissive, expressive. The writer did not find declaration type in the Alice Through The Looking Glass movie scripttotal of data found are seventy-seven (77) consist of thirty six (36) data for directive, fourteen (14) for types representive, nine (9) for expressive types, five (5) for commisive types and the writer not finding the declarative data. Strategies of illocutionary act consist of direct and indirect. The results stating that: nine (9) as strategies direct and four (4) as strategies indirect.
