Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tampilan penyusunan lembar kerja berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang sudah tervalidasi dan teruji kelayakannya serta mendeskripsikan kondisi optimum prosedur sintesis dan identifikasi asam Benzoat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengembangan lembar kerja berbasis inkuiri terbimbing ini adalah metode R&D (Research and Development) meliputi studi pendahuluan, analisis jurnal yang relevan, uji pendahuluan dalam sintesis dan identifikasi asam benzoat, dan membuat lembar kerja yang disusun berdasarkan percobaan sintesis dan identifikasi asam benzoat. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar kerja berbasis inkuiri terbimbing, lembar validasi, rubrik penilaian lembar kerja, dan lembar keterampilan kerja ilmiah mahasiswa. Hasil uji validasi tiga validator terhadap lembar kerja berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada sintesis dan identifikasi asam benzoat telah memenuhi syarat (valid) dengan nilai rata-rata rhitung yang diperoleh sebesar 0,83. Nilai rendemen yang diperoleh pada sintesis asam benzoat ini adalah 74%. Asam benzoat hasil sintesis diidentifikasi dan memiliki pH 3. Kata Kunci: Inkuiri terbimbing, lembar kerja, sintesis asam benzoat. This study aims to describe the appearance of a guided inquiry-based worksheet which has been validated, and has been tested for eligibility, and describes the optimum conditions for the synthesis procedure and identification of benzoic acid. The research method used in the development of guided inquiry-based worksheets is the R&D (Research and Development) method including preliminary studies, analysis of relevant journals, preliminary tests in the synthesis and identification of benzoic acid, and making worksheets arranged based on the synthesis and identification of benzoic acids. The instruments used were guided inquiry-based worksheets, validation sheets, assessment worksheet rubrics, and student scientific work skills sheets. The validation test results of three validators for guided inquiry-based worksheets on the synthesis and identification of benzoic acid met the requirements (valid) with an average value of r count obtained of 0,83. The yield value obtained in the synthesis of benzoic acid is 74%. The synthesized benzoic acid is identified and has a pH of 3. Keywords: Guided inquiry, Synthesis benzoic acid, Worksheets.
