Abstract

INDONESIA : Pembelajaran dikatakan baik jika berlangsung secara interaktif, inspiratif, menyenangkan, menantang dan dapat melatih peserta didik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, diantaranya keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hal tersebut dapat diwujudkan dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran yaitu phet simulation dan macromedia flash. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan penggunaan media pembelajaran phet simulation dan macromedia flash dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi gerak parabola. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy-Experimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA MAS Persis 40 Sarongge-Sumedang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar (SAS) dan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil analisis lembar (SAS) menunjukan persentase keterlaksanaan model discovery learning berbantuan media pembelajaran phet simulation sebesar 78% dan dengan persentase yang samam untuk macromedia flash sebesar 78%. Hasil analisis instrument tes keterampilan berpikir kritis menunjukan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis lebih efektif dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran phet simulation dengan N-gain sebesar 0,78, dibandingkan menggunakan macromedia flash dengan N-gain sebesar 0,70. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 48,33 ( phet simulation), 39,50 (macromedia flash) dan ttabel sebesar 2,04. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis setelah diterapkannya media pembelajaran phet simulation dan macromedia flash. ENGLISH : Learning is said to be good if it takes place interactively, inspirational, fun, challenging and can train students in improving higher-order thinking skills, including critical thinking skills. This can be realized by the use of learning media, namely phet simulation and macromedia flash. The purpose of this study is to compare the use of learning media for phet simulation and macromedia flash in improving students' critical thinking skills on parabolic motion material. The research method used was Quasy-Experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA MAS Persis 40 Sarongge-Sumedang. The instrument used was a sheet (SAS) and a critical thinking skills test. The results of the analysis of the sheet (SAS) showed the percentage of implementation of discovery learning models assisted by phet simulation learning media was 78% and the same percentage for macromedia flash was 78%. The results of the analysis of the critical thinking skills test instrument showed that the increase in critical thinking skills was more effective using phet simulation learning media with an N-gain of 0.78, compared to using macromedia flash with an N-gain of 0.70. The results of the analysis of hypothesis testing using the t test obtained a tcount of 48.33 (phet simulation), 39.50 (macromedia flash) and a table of 2.04. These results indicate that there is an increase in critical thinking skills after the implementation of learning media phet simulation and macromedia flash.
