Abstract

INDONESIA : Penyakit bulai merupakan salah satu faktor pembatas dalam produktivitas jagung oleh karenanya perlu dilakukan pengendalian yang efektif. Guano walet selain berperan sebagai pupuk juga berperan dalam meningkatkan tanaman dari serangan penyakit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan pupuk guano walet dalam menurunkan intensitas penyakit bulai (Peronosclerospora maydis) dan dalam meningkatan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung semi. Percobaan ini dilaksanakan di rumah kaca Kebun Percobaan Ciparanje Universitas Padjajaran, Jatinangor, menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), satu faktor delapan perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu: A = tanah tanpa inokulum patogen Peronosclerospora maydis & tanpa guano wallet; B = tanah tanpa guano + inokulum patogen Peronosclerospora maydis); C = 8,5 t ha-1 guano walet; D = 9 t ha-1 guano wallet; E : 9,5 t ha-1 guano wallet; F = 8,5 t ha-1 guano walet + Inokulum Peronosclerospora maydis; G = 9 t ha-1 guano walet + Inokulum Peronosclerospora maydis; H = 9,5 t ha-1 guano walet + Inokulum Peronosclerospora maydis. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa Pupuk guano dengan dosis 9 t ha-1 merupakan dosis yang efektif dalam meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, bobot tongkol basah kelobot, bobot basah tanpa kelobot dan bobot kering tongkol. ENGLISH : The downy mildew is one of restaint factors in corn productivity. Because of that, it needs to be controlled effectively. Guano swallow is not only used as fertilizer, but also used in increasing plants from disease. The aim of this study is to research the ability of guano swallow fertilizer to dicrease the intensity of downy mildew disease (Peronosclerospora maydis) and in increasing the growth of semi-corn plants. This experiment was carried out in the greenhouse of the Ciparanje Experimental Garden Padjajaran University Jatinangor, using an experimental method with a Randomized Block Design (RBD), one factor that supports and 3 replications, namely: A = soil without pathogenic inoculum Peronosclerospora maydis & guano wallet; B = soil without guano + inoculum pathogen Peronosclerospora maydis); C = 8.5 t ha-1 guano swallow; D = 9 t ha-1 guano wallet; E: 9.5 t ha-1 guano wallet; F = 8.5 t ha-1 guano swallow + Peronosclerospora maydis inoculum; G = 9 t ha-1 guano swallow + Peronosclerospora maydis inoculum; H = 9.5 t ha-1 guano swallow + Peronosclerospora maydis inoculum. The experimental results show that guano fertilizer with a dose of 9 t ha-1 is an effective dose to increase plants, wet weights of kelobot, wet weights without kelobot and dry weights of cob.
