Abstract

INDONESIA : Buncis merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman hortikultura yang termasuk kedalam kelompok leguminous. Buncis memiliki penurunan produksi yang menurun dikarenakan kualitas tanahnya menurun akibat pemakaian pupuk anorganik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk guano dan berbagai jenis media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman buncis tegak (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April hingga Mei 2020 bertempatan di Kp. Cikandang, Desa Cileunyi Kulon, Kecamatan Cileunyi, Kabupaten Bandung. Rancangan percobaan berupa Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dua Faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu dosis pupuk guano terdiri atas 4 taraf: (g0= kontrol, g1= 5 t ha-1, g2= 10 t ha-1 dan g3= 15 t ha-1). Faktor kedua yaitu media tanam dengan 5 taraf: (m0 = Tanah (kontrol), m1 = Arang Sekam padi, m2 = Cocopeat, m3 = Tanah + Arang sekam padi dan m4 = Tanah + Cocopeat). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan pupuk guano dengan dosis 15 t ha-1 memberikan hasil yang optimal pada semua parameter, sedangkan perlakuan media tanam tanah+arang sekam memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah bunga, jumlah polong, bobot segar polong dan bobot kering polong. ENGLISH : Bean is one of type horticultural plants that is included into leguminous group. Bean has decreased production because of decreasing quality of the soil due to the use inorganic fertilizer. This study aims to determine effect of dosage of Guano fertilizer and various type of growing media on growth and yield of bush bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). This study was conducted in April to May 2020 at Cikandang village, Cileunyi Kulon, Cileunyi, Bandung. The experimental design was Randomized Block Design factorial (RBD) with two factors. The first factor was dosage of Guano fertilizer consists of 4 levels: (g0= control, g1= 5 t ha-1, g2= 10 t ha-1 and g3= 15 t ha-1). The second factor was growing media with 5 levels: (m0 = soil (control), m1 = rice husk, m2 = cocopeat, m3 = soil + rice husk and m4 = soil + cocopeat). The results showed that the treatment of Guano fertilizer with level of 15 t ha-1 provides optimal results on all parameters, while the treatment of soil + rice husk had a good effect on the parameters of plant height, number of flowers, number of pods, pod fresh weight and pod dry weight.
