Abstract

Erosion as one of the processes in geomorphology is influenced byVarious factors one of which is the sensitivity of soil erosion (erodibility soil). Between one type of soil with another type of soil has Different sensitivity, this is influenced by the condition of each Type of soil during its development. Soil Erodibility and erosion rate are closely related to geomorphological conditions. This observation aims to: know the level of erodibility of several types of soil polda, make predictions model of the magnitude of soil surface erosion, analyze the correlation level of soil erodibility with geomorphology condition. Soil intensity and erosion rate Closely related to geomorphological conditions. Soil erodibility is always regarded as a constant parameter that does not change regardless the climate change. Indonesia has dry and wet seasons which may influence the soil physical properties. Most erosion models and sediment prediction have been developed based on the soil erodibility factor (K) from Wischmeier nomograph; although soil physical changes due to drying and wetting cycles are neglected. Soil erodibility factor inaccuracy may greatly affected erosion rate determination and furthermore the hydraulic structure service time is impossible to be appropriately planned.
