Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman wartawan dalam meliput konser musik virtual, mengetahui pemaknaan wartawan terhadap proses peliputan konser musik virtual, dan untuk mengetahui pengalaman wartawan dalam meliput konser musik virtual. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi fenomenologi yang bertujuan untuk memahami dunia dari sudut pandang orang-orang yang mengalami secara langsung atau dari perspektif alam pengalaman manusia dan makna yang menyertainya. Metode ini digunakan untuk memahami makna, pemahaman, dan pengalaman wartawan yang meliput konser musik virtual saat pandemi Covid-19. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa informan memahami peliputan konser musik virtual sebagai peliputan berita pertunjukan musik yang digelar secara virtual menggunakan jaringan internet, link dan perangkat seperti laptop atau handphone untuk mengaksesnya. Wartawan tidak hanya melaporkan tapi dapat mengapresiasi objek berita. Sementara Informan memaknai peliputan konser musik virtual sebagai peliputan pertunjukan musik yang membosankan karena dirasa hambar, tidak ada vibes konser musik yang dirasakan seperti konser musik yang digelar secara langsung. Kemudian pengalaman meliput konser musik virtual merupakan pengalaman menarik karena konser musik virtual adalah suatu hal yang baru namun pada akhirnya menjadi membosankan. Karena digelar secara daring yang membutuhkan jaringan internet kadang buruknya jaringan menjadi penghambat saat melakukan peliputan konser musik virtual. This study aims to determine the understanding of journalists in covering virtual music concerts, to find out the meaning of journalists to the process of covering virtual music concerts, and to find out the experiences of journalists in covering virtual music concerts. This study uses a phenomenological study that aims to understand the world from the point of view of people who experience it directly or from the perspective of the natural world of human experience and the meanings that accompany it. This method is used to understand the meaning, understanding, and experience of journalists covering virtual music concerts during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study indicate that the informants understand the coverage of virtual music concerts as news coverage of music performances that are held virtually using the internet network, links and devices such as laptops or mobile phones to access them. Journalists not only report but can appreciate the object of the news. While the Informant interprets the coverage of virtual music concerts as coverage of boring music performances because it feels bland, there is no vibe of a music concert that feels like a live music concert. Then the experience of covering a virtual music concert is an interesting experience because virtual music concerts are something new but eventually become boring. Because it is held online, which requires an internet network, sometimes a poor network becomes an obstacle when covering virtual music concerts.
