Abstract

INDONESIA : Media online dengan keunggulannya mempunyai tantangan untuk meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat khususnya berita yang sifatnya informatif dengan tren jurnalisme berbasis data. Video konten Playlist Buka Data merupakan video konten berbasis data yang ditayangkan Channel Youtube Narasi Newsroom. Video ini memuat berita berbasis data dengan isu yang beragam dan di visualisasikan ke dalam animasi yang menarik. peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan kajian mengenai video konten berbasis data dalam perspektif penonton tayangan yaitu pandangan anggota Jurnalposmedia mengenai video konten Playlist Buka Data pada Channel Youtube Narasi Newsroom. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan paradigm kontruktivisme. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori persepsi oleh Alex Sobur yang mengungkapkan bahwa komponen utama dari persepsi adalah seleksi, interpretasi, reaksi dimana bertujuan mencari jawaban mengenai makna dari suatu fenomena. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pandangan anggota jurnalposmedia mengenai video konten Buka data positif, terbukti dari hasil seleksi semua mengetahui adanya video konten Buka Data. Hasil interpretasi menyatakan bahwa video konten Buka Data adalah konten berita yang berbasis data dengan pemilihan isu yang beragam serta visualisasi dan animasi yang menarik. Hasil reaksi menunjukkan bahwa informan menyukai adanya video konten Buka Data dan video konten tersebut dapat menambah minat khalayak dalam mengkonsumsi berita. ENGLISH : Online media with its advantages have challenges to increase public interest in reading, especially news that is informative in nature with data-based journalism trends. Open Data Playlist video content is a data-based content video that is broadcast on the Narasi Newsroom Youtube Channel. This video contains data-based news with various issues and is visualized into interesting animations. Researchers are interested in conducting a study of data-based video content from the perspective of the audience, namely the views of Jurnalposmedia members regarding the Open Data Playlist video content on the Narasi Newsroom Youtube Channel. The approach in this research is qualitative with descriptive method and constructivism paradigm. The theory used is the theory of perception by Alex Sobur which reveals that the main components of perception are selection, interpretation, reaction which aims to find answers about the meaning of a phenomenon. This study shows that there are views of members of the Posmedia journal regarding the video content of Buka Data, which is positive, as evidenced by the selection results, all of whom are aware of the video content of Buka Data. The interpretation results state that Buka Data video content is data-based news content with a variety of issues and interesting visualizations and animations. The reaction results showed that the informants liked the Buka Data video content and the video content could increase the audience's interest in consuming news.
