Abstract

This research discusses how the implementation of child protection policies implemented by UPT P2TP2A Bandung. Because children are the future for the country that must be protected and fulfilled what is their right as children. examine barriers and efforts made to overcome barriers to child protection. The aim is to find out, describe, analyze the implementation, obstacles and efforts to resolve related to child protection policies. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and literature studies. The results of the study found that the implementation of child protection policies at UPT P2TP2A Bandung was not optimal, although in fact all cases of reported victims could be resolved according to child protection procedures, but still required performance stabilization. To optimize the implementation of the juvenile justice process, both against children as victims and as perpetrators, it must be in accordance with the criminal justice system, for time efficiency and service acceleration, one door should be made.
