Abstract
This research aims to analyze the sign in the animated film Finding Nemo. In the analysis of sign used the theory of Charles Sanders Peirce. In the formulation of the problem quations about the visuals and morality of the paper marks contained in the animated film Finding Nemo. Semiotics is a science or method of analysis to study signs. Analyzing the sign in the film can show the message the researcher wants to convey, in this case morality. Finding Nemo, an animated film by Andrews Stanton (2003) shows the struggle of a father to find his missing child. By using qualitative analysis, researcher then look for signs related to morality in the film, especially by analyzing Object, Interpretant and Representamen from Peirce's triadic semiotics. The results show that morality in this film not only has a positive aspect, the moral tendency related to stereotypes also dominates.
