Abstract

INDONESIA : Usaha yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas lahan pertanian khususnya untuk budidaya tanaman tomat, yaitu dengan melakukan pemupukan. Pemupukan dapat dilakukan menggunakan bahan organik. Adapun bahan organik yang memiliki fungsi sebagai pupuk yaitu pupuk kascing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk kascing dan pemangkasan tunas air terhadap hasil pertumbuhan tanaman tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) varietas victory. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Puskopad Desa Cipacing Kecamatan Jatinangor Kabupaten Sumedang dari bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu pupuk kascing (0 t ha-1, 5 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1, 15 t ha-1) dan faktor kedua adalah pemangkasan tunas air (kontrol, pemangkasan tunas air umur 15 HST, pemangkasan tunas air umur 30 HST) sehingga terdapat 12 kombinasi taraf perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tidak terdapat interaksi antara pupuk kascing dan pemangkasan tunas air terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) varietas victory. Dosis pupuk kascing 10 t ha -1 (k2) berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, bobot segar buah per tanaman, bobot basah brangkasan, bobot kering brangkasan dan indeks panen. ENGLISH : Efforts are made to increase agricultural land productivity, especially for the cultivation of tomatoes, namely by fertilizing. Fertilization can be done using organic materials. The organic material that has a function as fertilizer is vermicompost fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of vermicompost fertilizer and pruning on the growth yield of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) varieties victory. The research was conducted at the Puskopad, Cipacing Village, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency, from June to August 2021. The method used was a factorial randomized block design with two treatments. The first treatment is kascing fertilizer (0 t ha-1, 5 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1, 15 t ha-1), and the second treatment is pruning water shoots (control, pruning water shoots at 15 HST, pruning water shoots at 30 HST) then there is 12 combination of treatment which is repeated three times. Based on the study results, there was no interaction between kascing fertilizer and water shoot pruning on the growth yield of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) varieties victory. The dose of vermicompost 10 t ha-1 (k3) affected crop height, fresh fruit weight per crop, fresh weight, dry weight and harvest index.
