Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah penduduk Indonesia dan konversi lahan pertanian menjadi non pertanian menjadi masalah serius untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan lahan pasca tambang dengan penerapan FMA dan bahan organik. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Cicangkanggirang, kecamatan Sindangkerta, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada bulan Desember 2016 - Juli 2017. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara aplikasi pemberian jenis FMA dan bahan organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai (Capsicum annuum L.) Varietas Tanjung-2 di tanah pasca galian C. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah jenis FMA meliputi Glomus sp dan Gigaspora sp masing-masing sebanyak 15 gr polybag-1. faktor kedua adalah jenis bahan organik meliputi pupuk ayam, kompos kipahit, dan guano masing-masing sebanyak 30 t ha-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadinya interaksi pada perlakuan aplikasi jenis FMA dan bahan organik pada hasil presentase derajat infeksi dan nisbah pupus akar. Selain itu, pemberian kompos kipahit sebanyak 30 t ha-1 berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 3 sampai 5 MST, diameter batang, luas daun, dan bobot buah. Increasing of Indonesia people and conversion of agricultural land to non agricultural purpose become serious problem to fullfil food suply. To avercome that problem can be used post mining land with application of AMF and organic material. The research was conducted in Cicangkanggirang Village, Sindangkerta sub-district, West Bandung regency, from December 2016 - July 2017. The objectives was to determine the effect of AMF and organic material application on the growth and yield of chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.) Tanjung-2 varieties in post-dug soil C. experimental design used was randomized blok design with factorial pattern. The first factor was the type of AMF Glomus sp and Gigaspora sp 15 gr polybag-1. The second factor was the type of organic material including chicken manure, Tithonia diversivolia compost, and guano each of 30 t ha-1. The results showed there was interaction effect of AMF and organic material on infection degree percentage and short root ratio. Application of Tithonia diversivolia compost 30 t ha-1 gave significant effect on plant height on 3 to 5 MST, stem diameter, leaf area, and fruit weight.
