Abstract
In semester 7, students of Department of Information Engineering UIN Bandung will be presented some selected courses at the time of filling the study plan. Students of Informatics Engineering should choose at least 3 of the many courses presented electives. The lack of understanding of the elective courses presented makes it difficult for students to choose elective courses based on their interests and talents. The problem raises the idea of creating an application that can recommend a course of choice based on students' interests and talents using the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method. This method can be used in assisting decision making. The steps to be done are to determine criteria and alternatives, to provide pairwise comparison (TFN) value between criteria, to calculate degree of possibility criterion, to give pairwise comparison (TFN) matrix value between criteria and sub criteria, to calculate fuzzy synthetic extend all sub criteria on criteria , calculate the degree of possibility of all sub criteria on all criteria, calculate the composite weight of all subcriteria, and assign values to all alternatives. Once applied to the system, it can be concluded that FAHP can work well in determining selected course recommendations based on student interests and talents.
