Abstract

In this age, we find many humanitarian problems which from day to day become severe, moral crises, endless humanitarian conflicts, crimes in various forms and so on. According to Jalaluddin Rakhmat zuhud can lead one to spiritual experience (spiritual). In the world of tasawwuf known as mukasyafah, that is, when one tries earnestly (riyadhoh) to attain closeness with his Lord, then God will open the miracle curtain for him. The happiness of a zahid lies not in material things, but on the spiritual plane. From the background above, the writer raised the title of research entitled Implentasi Zuhud Value to Achieve Happiness of Urban Communities According Jalaluddin Rachmat (Study on Jemaah Pengajian Masjid Al-Munawwarah Kiara Condong Bandung). The purpose of this study is to determine the value of zuhud according to Jalaluddin Rachmat then applied by the congregation pengajian Al-Munawarah mosque and to know the implementation of zuhud value in the congregation of Masjid Al-Munawwarah Kiara Condong Bandung. This research method is qualilative by using descriptive analytic approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. The observations were conducted at the Masjid Al-Munawwarah Kiara Condong Bandung and the interview process was conducted with Jalaluddin Rachmat as a speaker in the recitation and some of his followers. Based on the results of data obtained in the field and the results of data analysis, it was found that zuhud according to Jalaluddin Rakhmat is a zuhud which is used as a pattern of life. The value of zuhud taught by Jalaluddin Rachmat is: 1. to get high degree, because happiness does not lie in the possession of property, 2. freedom, means free from the clutter of property, position and everything that is material, 3. Simple that is by way of life in the world but not worldwide means, we may have a lot of wealth, but not us as slaves of the treasure, but the treasure that becomes our slaves. Furthermore, the implementation of zuhud value which is used as a pattern of life can make the congregation has the characteristics that is, 1. not put happiness to the world's ownership, 2. Glory is measured by charity sholeh, not measured from the material, 3. Using the excess of his property for charity sholeh, 4. berkhidmat means to serve anyone in need, 5. Using property to get closer to Allah swt.
