Abstract

Produksi bibit jambu air belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan petani, bahkan produksi cenderung menurun setiap tahun akibat kendala dalam budidaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara konsentrasi IBA dan tiga varietas serta pengaruh penggunaan konsentrasi IBA dan varietas secara mandiri terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman jambu air. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di Balai Pengembangan Benih Hortikultura dan Aneka Tanaman pada bulan Agustus sampai Oktober 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental berupa Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan dua faktor, faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi IBA (0 ppm, 100 ppm, 300 ppm, dan 500 ppm), sedangkan faktor kedua adalah varietas jambu (Lilin, King Rose, dan Apple Rose) sehingga terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang tiga kali. Uji lanjut yang digunakan adalah Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (UJBD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi interaksi antara konsentrasi taraf IBA dan varietas berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi, parameter panjang akar, dan parameter jumlah tunas. Pengaruh mandiri konsentrasi IBA terlihat berpengaruh pada parameter tinggi tunas, parameter jumlah daun, dan parameter diameter batang. Pengaruh mandiri jenis varietas terlihat berpengaruh pada parameter tinggi tunas, parameter diameter batang, parameter panjang akar, parameter luas daun, dan parameter jumlah tunas. Konsentrasi IBA 300 ppm + varietas King Rose mampu berinteraksi dengan baik terhadap parameter tinggi, parameter panjang akar, dan parameter jumlah tunas. Seed production of water apple has not be able to fulfilled the farmer demand yet, moreover the production tends to diminish every year due constraints in cultivation. This research aimed to determine interaction between IBA and three varieties also independent effect on plant growth of water apple. The research was carried out at “Balai Pengembangan Benih Hortikultura dan Aneka Tanaman” from August until October 2017. The study used experimental method in factorial Randomized Complete Design with two factors, first factor was concentrations of IBA (0 ppm, 100 ppm, 300 ppm, and 500 ppm), second factor was various varieties of water apple (Lilin, King Rose, and Apple Rose) therefore there were 12 combination treatments repeated three times. Further test used Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result showed that interaction occurs between concentrations level of IBA and varieties significantly affected on plant height parameter, root length parameter, and number of shoots parameter. Independent effect of concentrations of IBA significantly affected on plant hight parameter, number of leaves parameter, and stem diameter parameter. Independent effect of various varieties significantly affected on plant height parameter, stem diameter parameter, root length parameter, leaf area parameter, and number of shoots parameter. IBA 300 ppm + King Rose varieties was able to interact wellon height on parameter, root length parameter, and number of shoots parameter.
