Abstract
INDONESIA : Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi saat ini telah mengubah lanskap komunikasi dan interaksi antara organisasi dengan publiknya. Website menjadi salah satu platform utama dalam aspek penyebaran informasi publik. Dinas Kehutanan Jawa Barat telah mengelola website dan merupakan bagian dari aktivitas Cyber Public Relations. Aktivitas cyber public relations melalui pengelolaan website memiliki peran penting dalam menyampaikan informasi, membangun citra positif, serta berinteraksi dengan publik secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Aktivitas Cyber Public Relations Melalui Pengelolaan Website Dinas Kehutanan Jawa Barat dishut.jabarprov.go.id dengan menggunakan konsep four steps public relations dengan tahapan (1) Identifying audience and information (2) planning and programming (3) Implementation, dan (4) evaluating the program. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara dan observasi partisipatoris pasif untuk dapat menjawab pertanyaan penelitian dan mendeskripsikan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dinas Kehutanan Jawa Barat telah menerapkan kegiatan Cyber Public Relations melalui pengelolaan situs website Dinas Kehutanan Jawa Barat, yaitu dishut.jabarprov.id. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan mengikuti empat tahap yang sejalan dengan konsep four steps public relations yang digagas oleh Cutlip, Center, dan Broom. Tujuan utama dari pengelolaan website ini adalah untuk mewujudkan transparansi informasi kepada masyarakat. Dinas Kehutanan Jawa Barat sebagai OPD (Organisasi Perangkat Daerah) berkomitmen untuk memastikan bahwa masyarakat dapat dengan mudah mengakses dan memahami informasi serta layanan yang dibuat. Dinas Kehutanan memanfaatkan website sebagai platform untuk menyediakan informasi yang jelas, akurat, dan terkini kepada masyarakat. ENGLISH : The current development of information and communication technology has transformed the landscape of communication and interaction between organizations and their publics. Websites have become one of the main platforms for public information dissemination. The West Java Forestry Department has managed its website as part of its Cyber Public Relations activities. Cyber Public Relations activities through website management play a crucial role in delivering information, building a positive image, and interacting with the public effectively. This study aims to explore the Cyber Public Relations activities through the management of the West Java Forestry Department website, dishut.jabarprov.go.id, using the concept of four steps public relations, which include (1) Identifying the audience and information, (2) planning and programming, (3) implementation, and (4) evaluating the program. This research adopts the constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach and descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is conducted through interviews and passive participatory observation to answer the research questions and describe the research objectives. The research findings indicate that the West Java Forestry Department has implemented Cyber Public Relations activities through the management of the West Java Forestry Department website, namely dishut.jabarprov.id. These activities are conducted following the four-step concept of "four steps public relations" proposed by Cutlip, Center, and Broom. The primary objective of website management is to achieve information transparency to the public. As a Regional Government Agency (OPD), the West Java Forestry Department is committed to ensuring that the public can easily access and comprehend the provided information and services. The department utilizes the website as a platform to deliver clear, accurate, and up-to-date information to the public.
