Abstract

INDONESIA : Keterampilan berpikir kritis adalah salah satu keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pengaruh model STAD menggunakan media mistery box terhadap KBKr siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu mix method dengan desain Embedded. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, soal uraian terbatas dengan indikator KBKr klarifikasi dasar, pengambilan keputusan, inferensi, klarifikasi lanjut, dan menangani strategi, dan angket kendala siswa. Penelitian dilakukan disalah satu SMP Negeri di Bandung. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas 35 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan reguler melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data hasil penelitian berupa keterlaksanaan aktivitas guru sebesar 95,85% dengan kriteria terlaksana sangat baik dan siswa sebesar 94,45% dengan kriteria terlaksana sangat baik. Peningkatan KBKr siswa pada kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor n-gain sebesar 0,56 dengan kriteria sedang dan kelas reguler memperoleh skor n-gain sebesar 0,35 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis mann whitney u-test menunjukkan Sign. 0,002 < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model STAD terhadap KBKr pada materi sistem ekskresi. Kendala siswa yang ditemukan yaitu pada tahap menganalisis pertanyaan sistem ekskresi sebelum pembelajaran yang memperoleh skor sebesar 45%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model STAD dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk melatih KBKr siswa. ENGLISH : Critical thinking skills are one of the higher order thinking skills. The research objective was to analyze the effect of the STAD model using mystery box media on students' KBKr. The method used is the mix method with Embedded design. The research instruments used were implementation observation sheets, limited description questions with KBKr indicators for basic clarification, decision making, inference, further clarification, and tackling strategies, and student problem questionnaires. The research was conducted at one of the State Middle Schools in Bandung. The research sample used consisted of 35 students in the experimental and regular classes through a purposive sampling technique. The results of the research were in the form of teacher activity implementation of 95.85% with very well implemented criteria and 94.45% of students with very well implemented criteria. The increase in the KBKr of students in the experimental class obtained an n-gain score of 0.56 with moderate criteria and the regular class obtained an n-gain score of 0.35 with moderate criteria. The results of the Mann Whitney u test hypothesis test showed Sign. 0.002 <0.05 indicates that there is an effect of the STAD model on KBKr in the excretory system material. The student constraints found were at the stage of analyzing the excretory system questions before learning which obtained a score of 45%. The results of the study show that the STAD model can be an alternative to train students' critical thinking skills.
