Abstract
INDONESIA : Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan perubahan dalam pendidikan secara konstan kehidupan masyarakat berkembang secara sains dan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan SETS terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equlivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan aktivitas guru dan peserta didik sangat baik. Hasil keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di kelas ekpserimen diperoleh rata-rata post-test sebesar 74 dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan kelas kontrol yang memperoleh rata-rata 67 dengan kategori rendah. Hasil uji T menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan SETS karena nilai thitung (3,973) > ttabel (2,001). Hasil asesmen produk daur ulang kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol. Respon peserta didik pada kelas menggunakan pendekatan SETS lebih baik dibandingkan kelas tanpa pendekatan SETS. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan pendekatan SETS berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. ENGLISH : This research is motivated by the constant changes in education in the life of a society that develops science and technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the SETS approach on students' creative thinking skills on environmental pollution. The research method used was a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group design. Accidental sampling research sample. The results of the study show that the implementation of teacher and student activities is very good. The results of students' creative thinking skills in the experimental class obtained an average post-test of 74 in the medium category, while the control class obtained an average of 67 in the low category. The results of the T test show that there is a significant effect on learning using the SETS approach because the value of tcount (3.973) > ttable (2.001). The results of the experimental class recycling product assessment were higher than the control class. Student responses in classes using the SETS approach were better than classes without the SETS approach. The conclusion in this study shows that the SETS approach has a significant effect on students' creative thinking skills on environmental pollution material.
