Abstract

INDONESIA : Pelecehan seksual pada usia dewasa awal dapat menyebabkan gangguan emosional, seperti kecemasan, depresi, perasaan rendah diri, dan gangguan stress pasca trauma. Pelecehan seksual juga dapat merusak kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan untuk membentuk hubungan yang sehat dan saling percaya. Pelecehan seksual pada usia dewasa awal juga memiliki implikasi sosial yang signifikan, jika tidak ditangani, dapat meningkatkan resiko pengalaman di masa depan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara hope dengan post traumatic growth pada korban pelecehan seksual usia dewasa awal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan responden sebanyak 100 orang berusia 18-25 tahun di Kota Bandung. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Adult Hope Scale (AHS) oleh Snyder (1991) dan Post traumatic growth Inventory yang dikembangkan oleh Tedeschi dan Calhoun (1996). Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik kolerasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara hope dengan post traumatic growth pada korban pelecehan seksual usia dewasa awal dengan skor (r = 0.682; p = 0.0000 < 0.05), sehingga hipotesis pada penelitian ini diterima. ENGLISH : Sexual abuse in early adulthood can cause emotional disorders, such as anxiety, depression, feelings of inferiority, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Sexual harassment can also undermine self-confidence and the ability to form healthy, trusting relationships. Sexual abuse in early adulthood also has significant social implications that, if left untreated, can increase the risk of future experiences. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hope and post traumatic growth in victims of sexual abuse in early adulthood. The method used in this study is a correlational quantitative method with respondents as many as 100 people who are early adults aged 18-25 years in Bandung City. The measuring instruments used include the Adult Hope Scale (AHS) by Snyder (1991) and the Post traumatic growth Inventory developed by Tedeschi and Calhoun (1996). Data analysis techniques using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between hope and post traumatic growth in victims of early adult sexual abuse with a score (r = 0.682; p = 0.0000 < 0.05), so the hypothesis in this study was accepted.
