Abstract

Pada penelitian sebelumnya peneliti berasumsi terdapat problematika pada mahasiswa penyusun skripsi sehingga mengalami yang dinamakan stres. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi dikarenakan ketika mahasiswa merasakan adanya ketidakmampuan dalam menghadapi sumber stres yang datang sehingga menyebabkan tekanan dalam diri mahasiswa itu sendiri. Lebih dominan mahasiswa penyusun skripsi memiliki tingkat problem focused coping yang cukup rendah, sedangkan mereka sedang berada pada posisi banyaknya problematika yang datang menjadi sumber stres dan menjadi sebuah tekanan bagi mahasiswa itu sendiri yang mengharuskan untuk memfokuskan banyaknya masalah yang datang dan banyaknya sumber problematika yang ada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh adversity quotient dan optimisme terhadap problem focused coping mahasiswa penyusun skripsi Fakultas Psikologi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung tahun angkatan 2016 – 2019. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode statistik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif pendekatan dan teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Penelitian ini mengambil responden sebanyak 180 mahasiswa penyusun skripsi Fakultas Psikologi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung tahun angkatan 2016 – 2019. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperoleh nilai F = 19.865 dan nilai p-value .000 < .05, yang menunjukan bahwa adversity quotient dan optimisme denga bersamaan berpengaruh terhadap problem focused coping mahsiswa psenyusun skripsi Fakultas Psikologi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. In the previous study, the researchers assumed that there were problems in students composing the thesis so that they experienced what was called stress. This can happen because when students feel an inability to deal with sources of stress that come so that it causes pressure within the students themselves. Predominantly, thesis drafting students have a fairly low level of problem focused coping, while they are in a position where many problems come as a source of stress and become a pressure for the students themselves which require them to focus on the many problems that come and the many sources of existing problems. The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of adversity quotient and optimism on problem focused coping of the thesis drafting students of the Faculty of Psychology UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, class of 2016 – 2019. The method used in this study is a statistical method with a quantitative approach and sampling technique used. Namely purposive sampling. This study took 180 students as respondents who wrote the thesis drafting of the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, class of 2016 – 2019. The results of this study obtained an F value = 19,865 and a p-value of .000 <.05, which shows that the adversity quotient and optimism with Simultaneously, it has an effect on the problem focused coping of students who compose the thesis at the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati, Bandung.
