Abstract

INDONESIA : Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sedang berada pada fase akhir untuk menyelesaikan kuliah dan menyusun skripsi. Berbagai tuntutan yang dialami oleh para mahasiswa tingkat akhir berkontribusi pada emosi negatif selama berada di masa transisi yang tidak pasti. Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sering mengalami emosi negatif yang jika tidak segera diatasi, besar kemungkinan dapat menyebabkan quarter life crisis. Ketidak mampuan melewati masa krisis ini dapat mengakibatkan berbagai dampak negatif. Dukungan sosial dan kematangan karier dalam penelitian ini dijadikan variabel bebas yang dikaitkan dengan quarter life crisis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial dan kematangan karier terhadap quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Sebanyak 405 mahasiswa tingkat akhir menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini, didapatkan dengan teknik quota sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial secara parsial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir dengan pengaruh sebesar 43,9%. Begitupun dengan kematangan karier secara parsial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir dengan pengaruh sebesar 52,9%. Demikian juga secara simultan, dukungan sosial dan kematangan karier berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap quarter life crisis dengan pengaruh sebesar 70,8%. ENGLISH : Final year students are in the final phase of completing their studies and writing their thesis. The various demands experienced by final year students contribute to negative emotions during an uncertain transition period. Final year students often experience negative emotions which, if not dealt with immediately, are likely to cause a quarter life crisis. The inability to get through this crisis can result in various negative impacts. Social support and career maturity in this study were used as independent variables that were associated with the quarter life crisis. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of social support and career maturity on the quarter life crisis in final year students. The research method used in this research is a correlational quantitative approach. A total of 405 final year students were respondents in this research, obtained using a quota sampling technique. The research results show that social support partially has a negative and significant effect on the quarter life crisis in final year students with an influence of 43.9%. Likewise, career maturity partially has a negative and significant effect on the quarter life crisis in final year students with an influence of 52.9%. Likewise, simultaneously, social support and career maturity have a negative and significant effect on the quarter life crisis with an influence of 70.8%.
