Abstract
Conversational implicature is implied meaning that involves context to produce meaning in a conversation between speaker and listener. Ideally, to achieve effective conversation, the speaker and listener should apply a principle in conversation called the cooperative principle by Grice (1975).The flouting of maxims can cause implicature. Therefore, it is urgent to conduct the research about this topic because understand implied meaning is important in conversation. This research aim to analyze flouted maxims and the types of conversational implicature found in kids meet serial of HiHo Kids YouTube Channel. This research used Grice's (1975) conversational implicature and the descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of data analysis, the findings showed that there were flouting maxim of quantity (11 data), flouting maxim of manner (10 data), flouting maxim of quality (6 data), and flouting maxim of relation (3 data). Meanwhile, the conversational implicature was categorized into two types. There were generalized conversational implicature (26 data) and particularized conversational implicature (4 data). From the findings, the cause of children's conversational implicature was mainly dominated by the flouting maxim of quantity and maxim of manner. Then, generalized conversational implicature was the most conversational implicature raised in kids meet serial of the HiHo Kids YouTube Channel. It means that conversational implicature caused by flouting the maxims occurred in every conversation, particularly in a context, in which the speaker and listener had a mutual understanding. Both adults and children used conversational implicature in their conversations. Implikatur percakapan adalah makna tersirat yang melibatkan konteks untuk menghasilkan makna dalam percakapan antara pembicara dan pendengar. Idealnya, untuk mencapai percakapan yang efektif, pembicara dan pendengar harus menerapkan prinsip dalam percakapan yang disebut dengan prinsip kerja sama oleh Grice (1975). Pelanggaran terhadap maksim dapat menyebabkan implikatur. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk melakukan penelitian tentang topik ini karena memahami makna tersirat merupakan hal yang penting dalam percakapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis maksim-maksim yang dilanggar dan jenis-jenis implikatur percakapan yang ditemukan dalam acara kids meet serial di saluran YouTube HiHo Kids. Penelitian ini menggunakan implikatur percakapan dari Grice (1975) dan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pelanggaran maksim kuantitas (11 data), pelanggaran maksim cara (10 data), pelanggaran maksim kualitas (6 data), dan pelanggaran maksim hubungan (3 data). Sementara itu, implikatur percakapan dikategorikan menjadi dua jenis. Yaitu implikatur percakapan umum (26 data) dan implikatur percakapan khusus (4 data). Dari hasil temuan, penyebab implikatur percakapan anak didominasi oleh pelanggaran maksim kuantitas dan maksim cara. Kemudian, implikatur percakapan umum merupakan implikatur percakapan yang paling banyak digunakan dalam kids meet serial di kanal YouTube HiHo Kids. Artinya, implikatur percakapan yang disebabkan oleh pelanggaran maksim terjadi pada setiap percakapan, terutama pada konteks-konteks dimana pembicara dan pendengar memiliki pemahaman yang sama. Baik orang dewasa maupun anak-anak menggunakan implikatur percakapan dalam percakapan mereka. Kata kunci: prinsip kerja sama, pelanggaran maksim, implikatur, implikatur percakapan
