Abstract

ENGLISH: Invasive plants have a negative impact on biodiversity, especially on lower levels of vegetation. One step to maintain biodiversity is through the establishment of Nature Reserves (CA), such as the Gunung Tilu CA in Bandung Regency, West Java. CA Gunung Tilu consists of blocks, one of which is the Cisorog Block. The Cisorog Block area is characterized by open areas and direct borders with public activities which can be a supporting factor for the growth and spread of invasive plants. This research aims to determine the diversity, distribution patterns and environmental factors most related to the distribution of understory invasive species in the Cisorog Block, Gunung Tilu CA. The method used is a combination of vegetation analysis , correlation test, and principal component analysis. The research results showed that 39 invasive understory plant species (including 21 families) had been identified in the research location. The invasive undergrowth with the highest INP at station 1 is Cyrtandra grandis (93.714%), at station 2 is Cyperus odoratus (33.927%), and at station 3 is Commelina benghalensis (15.353%). The evenness index of invasive undergrowth at the research location is in the range of 0.65-0.85 which is included in the high category. Meanwhile, the diversity index is in the range 1.05-2.96 which is included in the medium category. All species identified in these sample plots have a clustered distribution pattern. The environmental factors most related to the distribution of undergrowth of invasive species at the research location are sunlight intensity and air humidity.
