Abstract

INDONESIA: Tanaman buncis tegak (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) adalah komoditas sayuran yang banyak diminati oleh konsumen menengah ke atas, pada umumnya seiring berjalannya perkembangan zaman konsumen lebih menginginkan budidaya sayuran organik yang berkualitas tinggi setiap tahunnya namun belum memenuhi konsumsi masyarakat. Salah satu bahan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pupuk organik adalah kotoran maggot BSF (kasgot). Pemberian pupuk kasgot untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hara buncis, sehingga produksi dapat meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan dosis pupuk kasgot terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tanaman buncis tegak (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan April 2024 di Lahan Balai Pengembangan dan Produksi Benih Perkebunan (BPPBP) yang berada di Jalan Arcamanik No. 106, Sindang Jaya, Kecamatan Mandalajati, Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Setiap unit percobaan terdapat 3 sampel tanaman, sehingga diperoleh 75 sampel tanaman (K0= Kontrol (tanah + NPK 250 kg ha-1); K1= Pupuk organik kasgot 9 t ha-1; K2= Pupuk organik kasgot 12 t ha-1; K3= Pupuk organik kasgot 15 t ha-1; K4= Pupuk organik kasgot 18 t ha-1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan dosis pupuk kasgot pada buncis tegak memberikan pengaruh terhadap jumlah daun, luas daun, berat segar brangkasan, dan bobot kering brangkasan, namun belum mendapatkan dosis yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pada buncis tegak. ENGLISH: Upright bean plants (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) are a vegetable commodity that is in great demand by middle and upper class consumers. In general, as time goes by, consumers increasingly want to cultivate high quality organic vegetables every year but this has not yet met public consumption. Providing cassava fertilizer from household waste feed is one effort to meet the nutrient needs of beans, so that production can increase. This research aimd to determine the effect of different doses of cassava fertilizer on growth and yield in upright bean plants (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). This research was carried out from February to April 2024 on the Plantation Seed Development and Production Center (BPPBP) land located on Jalan Arcamanik No. 106, Sindang Jaya, Mandalajati District, Bandung City, West Java. This research used a Randomized Bloca Design consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. Each experimental unit contained 3 plant samples, so that 75 plant samples were obtained (K0= Control (soil + NPK 250 kg ha-1); K1= Spent Maggot Substrate(SMS) organic fertilizer 9 t ha-1; K2= Spent Maggot Substrate(SMS) organic fertilizer 12 t ha-1; K3 = Spent Maggot Substrate(SMS) organic fertilizer 15 t ha-1; K4 = Spent Maggot Substrate(SMS) organic fertilizer 18 t ha-1). The results of the research showed that different doses of cassava fertilizer on upright beans had an influence on the number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight of stover, and dry weight of stover, but the best dose was not found on growth and yield on upright beans.
