Abstract

INDONESIA: Setiap mahasiswa yang akan menyelesaikan studinya harus menyusun karya ilmiah berupa Tugas Akhir (TA). Dengan menyusun tugas akhir, mahasiswa diharapkan dapat memecahkan masalah berdasarkan program studi yang ditempuh secara sistematis dan logis, berdasarkan data yang akurat dan didukung oleh analisis yang tepat. Pemilihan topik TA yang kurang tepat bisa memperlambat proses penyelesaian TA, Sistem pendukung keputusan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam menentukan topik TA yang akan dipilih berdasarkan kompetensi yang dimilikinya. Metode SMART merupakan metode dalam pengambilan keputusan multi atribut. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dengan metode SMART diharapkan mampu membantu mahasiswa dalam menentukan topik TA berdasarkan kompetensi dirinya. Metode Simple multi attribute rating technique pada sistem pendukung keputusan ini mengurangi subjektifitas serta membantu mahasiswa untuk memilih topik TA yang cocok agar optimal dalam penyelesaiannya. ENGLISH: Every student who will complete his study must prepare a scientific work in the form of Final Project. By compiling the final project, students are expected to be able to solve problems based on the study which taken systematically and logically, based on the accurate data and supported by appropriate analysis. Inappropriate selection of final project topics can obstruct the completion process. Decision support systems can help students in determining the final project topics selected based on their competencies. The SMART method is a method in making multi-attribute decisions. Decision Support System with SMART method expected to be able to help students in determining final project topics based on their competence. The simple multi attribute rating technique in this decision support system reduces subjectivity and helps students to choose the appropriate final project topic to be optimal in its completion.
