Abstract

INDONESIA: Indonesia memiliki dua musim utama: musim hujan dari November hingga Maret dan musim kemarau dari April hingga Oktober, menurut BMKG. Namun, perubahan cuaca yang tidak menentu akibat pemanasan global membuat musim ini sulit diprediksi, sering mengganggu kegiatan menjemur pakaian yang rutin dilakukan oleh masyarakat. Dalam era digital yang semakin berkembang, Internet of Things (IoT) telah menjadi konsep yang popular. dengan merancang sebuah sistem jemuran pintar yang akan diimplementasikan pada jemuran pakaian. Alat ini akan memberitahu pengguna tentang kondisi cuaca dan status posisi jemuran. sehingga mereka dapat mengetahui apakah aman untuk menjemur pakaian atau tidak. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem jemuran pintar berfungsi dengan baik, di mana sensor berhasil mendeteksi cuaca dengan akurat. Status "Mendung" ketika sensor mendeteksi cuaca gelap di siang hari, status "Malam" ketika mendeteksi kondisi gelap di malam hari, status "Siang" ketika mendeteksi siang, dan status "Hujan" ketika mendeteksi adanya hujan. Proses monitoring dan pengiriman data dilakukan secara otomatis dan manual dengan waktu delay kurang dari 3 detik. Alat ini dirancang menggunakan sensor Raindrop FC-37 untuk mendeteksi turunnya hujan, sementara sensor cahaya dideteksi oleh sensor LDR. Hasil pembacaan dari kedua sensor ini diproses oleh mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32, yang kemudian mengirimkan pemberitahuan ke aplikasi Android. ENGLISH: Indonesia experiences two primary seasons: the rainy season from November to March and the dry season from April to October, according to BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency). However, unpredictable weather changes due to global warming have made these seasons difficult to forecast, often disrupting the routine activity of drying clothes. In this era of rapid digital advancement, the Internet of Things (IoT) has become a popular concept. This study involves designing a smart drying rack system to be implemented for drying clothes. The device will inform users about the weather conditions and the status of the drying rack, allowing them to determine whether it is safe to dry clothes. The results of this research indicate that the smart drying rack system functions effectively, where the sensors accurately detect weather conditions. The system displays "Cloudy" when the sensor detects dark conditions during the day, "Night" when it detects dark conditions at night, "Day" when it detects daylight, and "Rain" when it detects rainfall. The monitoring and data transmission processes are performed both automatically and manually with a delay of less than 3 seconds. The device is designed using the Raindrop FC-37 sensor to detect rain, while light conditions are detected by an LDR sensor. The readings from these sensors are processed by a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller, which then sends notifications to an Android application.
