Abstract

INDONESIA: Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench.) merupakan salah satu sayuran yang sangat prospektif. Limbah organik atau sampah organik merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang cukup besar dan penting di Indonesia. Proses pengomposan sampah organik menjadi pupuk organik adalah salah satu solusi dari pengurangan sampah organik di masyarakat sekaligus dapat dijadikan pupuk yang baik bagi tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan kombinasi yang efektif dari pemberian kombinasi pupuk ampas teh dan pupuk tepung tulang ayam (TTA) terhadap efisiensi penggunaan pupuk NPK, pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench.). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 14 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu pemberian pupuk ampas teh (45 g/tanaman) dengan pupuk tepung tulang ayam (30 g/tanaman) yang dikombinasikan dengan NPK Mutiara (15-15-15) dengan dosis yang berbeda (0-75%). Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlakuan pupuk ampas teh dengan NPK 50% dan pupuk tepung tulang ayam dengan NPK 0% menunjukan hasil yang efektif terhadap efisiensi penggunaan NPK, pada tinggi tanaman okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench.). INGGRIS: Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench.) is a highly promising vegetable. Organic waste or garbage is a significant and important issue in Indonesia. The process of composting organic waste into organic fertilizer is one solution to reduce organic waste in communities and can also be used as good fertilizer for plants. The aim of this research is to determine the effect and effective combination of tea waste and bone meal fertilizer on the efficiency of NPK fertilizer use, growth, and yield of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench.). The method used in this research is a Randomized Block Design with 14 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments applied include tea waste fertilizer (45 g/plant) combined with bone meal fertilizer (30 g/plant) and NPK Mutiara (15-15-15) with varying doses (0-75%). The results indicate that the treatment with tea waste at 50% NPK efficiency and bone meal fertilizer at 0% NPK efficiency showed effective results in the efficiency of NPK use, and in the height of okra plants (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench.).
