Abstract

Condition increasingly limited agricultural land is due to the banya are too large building that caused a lot of rice plant decreased production due to land more and more narrow and more water is exposed to erosion because of the large factories in the modern era. Erosion control and also flows on the surface can be a major pesyaratan to prevent the decline in the quality of the land. Wetlands are natural resources that can be utilized. Wetlands can be a source of growth that can encourages economic development and prosperity of the people of Indonesia. In the wetlands can be used as wetland by planting rice plants by means of the swamp land in the soil piled with urugan of mountain land Sumedang. In the marshland has a pH of 3, which means the land is low due to waterlogged soil that does not allow the marshland can be planted with rice. Marshland in timbun by land urugan of mountain Sumedang in order to raise the pH of the soil whose origin pH marshland 3 to pH 6 makes marshland into soil rice fields fertile and ditanamin by plant anything in order to add nutrients and organic matter, after the land was arable paddy tanamna it is no longer a marshland but became a rice field.
