Abstract

INDONESIA: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan solusi optimal dalam masalah transportasi fuzzy menggunakan fungsi rangking baru dan metode Max-Min Vogel’s Approximation. Pendekatan baru ini diperkenalkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam penyelesaian masalah transportasi fuzzy, yang ditandai oleh ketidakpastiaan dalam parameter seperti biaya, permintaan dan penawaran. Fungsi ranking baru dikembangkan untuk mengkonversi bilangan fuzzy menjadi nilai crisp (tegas), yang lebih akurat dibandingkan fungsi ranking lama. Metode Max-Min Vogel’s Approximation yang dimodifikasi juga diterapkan untuk mengatasi ketidakpastian dan ketidaktepatan dalam data transportasi fuzzy. Studi kasus menunjukan bahwa algoritma yang diusulkan mampu menghasilkan solusi optimal lebih cepat dan akurat dibandingkan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam bidang riset operasi dan pemodelan matematika, khususnya dalam penyelesaian masalah transportasi fuzzy. ENGLISH: This research aims to determine the optimal solution for fuzzy transportation problems using a new ranking function and the Max-Min Vogel’s Approximation Method. This new approach is introduced to enhance efficiency and accuracy in solving fuzzy transportation problems, characterized by uncertainties in parameters such as costs, demand, and supply. The new ranking function is developed to convert fuzzy numbers into crisp values, which are more accurate compared to the old ranking function. The modified Max-Min Vogel’s Approximation Method is also applied to address uncertainties and imprecision in fuzzy transportation data. Case studies demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can produce optimal solutions more quickly and accurately than conventional methods. The findings of this study are expected to contribute significantly to the field of operations research and mathematical modeling, particularly in solving fuzzy transportation problems.
