Abstract

This study investigates the experiences and perceptions of Indonesian EFL students in using the “English” server on Discord to improve their English-speaking fluency. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were gathered through questionnaires and interviews. The findings indicate that Discord provides a supportive, interactive environment for language practice, offering features such as voice channels and opportunities to engage with native speakers. Students reported increased confidence and fluency, highlighting the platform’s accessibility and motivational atmosphere. The study concludes that Discord serves as an effective digital tool for enhancing speaking fluency among EFL learners.
