Abstract

INDONESIA : Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung sebagai komunitas umum yang sudah berdiri selama 8 tahun. Komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung adalah komunitas yang fokus kepada acara penyangan karya perfilman dan juga sebagai fasilitator edukasi di mana memberikan wadah kepada masyarakat Kota Bandung yang memiliki minat atau ketertarikan di bidang perfilman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui latar belakang berdirinya komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung. Untuk mengetahui implementasi program komunitas Ruang Film Bandung dan mengetahui pola solidaritas komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data primer berupa informan yang terdiri dari ketua dan anggota lama dan anggota baru komunitas Ruang Film Bandung, sedangkan sumber data primer berupa dokumen dan literatur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis permasalahan penelitian yaitu teori solidaritas Emile Durkheim. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa erbentuknya komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perhatian kepada komunitas-komunitas film di kota Bandung yang hanya fokus pada produksi film. Sehingga komunitas Ruang Film Bandung hadir untuk menjadi komunitas yang fokus kepada penyelenggaraan acara-acara film seperti acara penayangan dan kompetisi film-film pendek. Program-program yang dilaksanakan oleh komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung berkontribusi untuk meramaikan ekosistem perfilman di kota Bandung sehingga membuat komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung masih bertahan hingga saat ini. Program komunitas yang berfokus kepada fasilitator edukasi seperti Bandung Movie Camp yang menyelenggarakan acara workshop perfilman. Klinik Film, program diskusi dan kritik terhadap sebuah karya perfilman agar si pembuat film dapat menjadi lebih biak di karya selanjutnya. Comedy Cut Screening & Roasting, acara yang meramaikan penyangan film pendek sebagai pilihan masyarakat kota Bandung untuk datang ke acara penyanagan atau layar apresiasi karya perfilman. Dan terkahir Longitude IndiHome Film Vertical Competition, yaitu kompetisi film pendek yang diselenggarakan oleh Ruang Film Bandung untuk memberi wadah kepada para pembuat film untuk menunjukan karyanya. Pola solidaritas dalam komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung adalah solidaritas mekanik. Meskipun ada dalam masyarakat modern tetapi solidaritas yang ada adalah solidaritas mekanik karena adanya kesadaran kolektif dan pembagian kerja yang tidak terlalu luas. Proses produksi film yang didasari oleh kerja sama membuat kesadaran kolektif anggota komunitas film Ruang Film Bandung kuat. ENGLISH : This research was motivated by the film community of Ruang Film Bandung as a public community that has been established for 8 years. Ruang Film Bandung film community is a community that focuses on film screening, events and also as an educational facilitator where it provides a platform to the people from Bandung who have an interest or interest in the field of film. The purpose of this research is to find out the background of the establishment of Ruang Film Bandung film community. To find out the implementation of the Ruang Film Bandung community program and know the pattern of solidarity of the Ruang Film Bandung community. This research uses descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. Primary data sources in the form of informants consisting of the chairman and old members and new members of Ruang Film Bandung community, while the primary data source is in the form of documents and literature related to research. Data is obtained using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. In this study the theory used to analyze research problems is Emile Durkheim solidarity theory. The results showed that the shape of the Ruang Film Bandung film community was motivated by attention to film communities in the city of Bandung that only focused on film production. So that the Ruang Film Bandung community is here to be a community that focuses on organizing film events such as screening events and short film competitions. The programs implemented by Ruang Film Bandung film community contribute to enlivening the film ecosystem in the city of Bandung so as to make Ruang Film Bandung film community still survive today. Community programs that focus on educational facilitators such as Bandung Movie Camp which organizes film workshop events. Film Clinic, discussion program and criticism of a film work so that the filmmaker can become more proliferating in the next work. Comedy Cut Screening & Roasting, an event that enlivens the screening of short films as the choice of the Bandung people to come to the event of the reception or screen appreciation of film works. And the last Longitude IndiHome Film Vertical Competition, which is a short film competition organized by Ruang Film Bandung to give a platform to filmmakers to show their work. The pattern of solidarity in Ruang Film Bandung film community is mechanical solidarity. Although it exists in modern society, solidarity is mechanical solidarity because of the collective conscience and the division of labor that is not too broad. The film production process based on cooperation makes the collective conscience of members of the Ruang Film Bandung film community strong.
