Abstract

The capacity of the film as a literary work can present a message. This is because the film has a structure that helps put the narrative proportions in it. Plot is one of the significant elements in presenting narrative projections, the plot with its function will determine the narrative as the opening, the problem to completion with its elements, namely exposition, raising action, conflict, climax, falling action, and resolution.This study uses a literary criticism method with descriptive analysis with an objective and pragmatic approach to find, answer, and explain plot projections, types of religious issues in each plot stage, and the film's defense of Islam. The founding and the discussion occurred that the plot projection is exposing general form of interest, in falling action is the project of enchantment, the conflict is the project of narrative struggle, the climax is deconstruction project, falling action is dedicated for reconstruction, and last resolution is justified as the overcome and resolve projection. The type of religious issue which found is all kind of religious issue such as belief, knowledge, practice, feeling, and experience in the context of Islam. The defense thing in the film found can be justified into two terms, first is the understanding and second is the strategy.
