Abstract

pandemic has forced changes in educational institutions. Current learning activities must be done at home online, which is known as Learning From Home (BDR). In online classroom management, there are many obstacles that occur. This study aims to describe and also analyze 1) class management planning at MTs Negeri 1 Cimahi during the Covid-19 pandemic, 2) organizing class management at MTs Negeri 1 Cimahi during the Covid-19 pandemic, 3) Coordination and class management communication at State MTs 1 Cimahi during the Covid-19 pandemic, 4) control of class management at MTs Negeri 1 Cimahi during the Covid-19 pandemic, and also 5) factors that influence class management at MTs Negeri 1 Cimahi during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study research design. From the results of data analysis, it was found that: (1) class planning was made in the form of annual programs, semester programs, and daily programs in accordance with the emergency 2013 Curriculum guidelines; (2) Classroom equipment cannot operate effectively during this Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, not all teachers form study groups; (3) during the Covid-19 pandemic, coordination and communication was carried out covering four functions, namely: a) informative function, namely teachers actively providing information in class groups and parent groups; b) regulative function, namely the teacher provides rules, reminds and reprimands students for violations; c) persuasive function, namely the teacher always provides guidance and motivation to students and parents; and d) integrative function, namely the teacher as a forum for all access to information, both information to parents of students, students, or fellow teachers; (4) MTs Negeri 1 Cimahi teachers assess the assignments and behavior of students according to the 2013 curriculum assessment system.The teacher checks incoming assignments on E-Learning, Google Form, CBT, Daily Examinations, Mid-Semester Deuteronomy and Final Semester Deuteronomy , as well as seen from the daily attendance of students; and (5) Class management factors, namely a) physical environment influencing factors, namely limited quotas owned by students and bad signal factors; b) socio-emotional factors, namely the absence of face-to-face interaction between the teacher and students, the teacher's teaching method is only one way and there is no feedback for one learning material on the students' mastery of the material; lastly c) organizational factors, which include the ability to capture students who are diverse, laziness and boredom from students, no interaction with classmates and lack of support for infrastructure at home.
