Abstract

ENGLISH : This reaserch aims to find out The Changes Character of Maleficent from Evil to Good in ‘Maleficent’ Film 2014. The research focus on Aristotle theory about character. Then it was analyzed by using descriptive methodology. This research focused on two points: (1) To find out the changes character of Maleficent in Film, (2) To find out the character of Maleficent. Having collected data, the researcher analyzed this research by ways of identifying, categorizing, describing and interpreting, and drawing the conclusion to make the data one by one seems linked. To analyze this point, researcher used the theory Character of Aristotle. The researcher put the screenshot of film first followed by the citation from film. As the result of this research, researcher explained how the Maleficent characters. INDONESIA : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan karakter Maleficent dari jahat ke baik dalam film ‘Maleficent’ 2014. Penelitian ini berfokus pada teori Aristoteles tentang karakter. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metodologi deskriptif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada satu poin: (1) Untuk mengetahui perubahan karakter Maleficent di Film, (2) Untuk mengetahui karakter Maleficient. Setelah mengumpulkan data, peneliti menganalisis penelitian ini dengan cara mengidentifikasi, mengkategorikan, menggambarkan dan menafsirkan, dan membuat kesimpulan untuk membuat data satu per satu yang terkait. Untuk menganalisis poin ini, peneliti menggunakan teori Karakter Aristoteles. Peneliti menempatkan screenshot dari film pertama diikuti oleh kutipan dari film. Sebagai hasil dari penelitian ini, peneliti menjelaskan bagaimana karakter Maleficent.
