Abstract

in the 4.0 era. all technology-based aspects, one of which is digital-based public services. Digitalization of bureaucracy is an effort to utilize bureaucracy through technology to support the acceleration of bureaucratic reform in its institutions to provide progressive and transparent public services. In carrying out access to bureaucratic digitization services, the West Java provincial government, especially in the Bandung city area, has implemented one of the Public Information system applications, known as the "Salaman" application. However, in its implementation there are still several user problems in accessing the service. This is what makes researchers want to study the influence of bureaucratic digitalization on society's digital literacy level. This research was carried out to test and determine the effect of digitalization of bureaucracy through the "salaman" application, the impact received by a number of people. In this research, the method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with data analysis techniques using simple linear regression analysis because it consists of two variables (X) and (Y). The type of research in this research uses quantitative correlation research methods which can be used to detect the extent to which variations are related to other factors. The theory used in this research is E-Government Principles and digital literacy competencies. The research results show that there is a simultaneous influence between the Digitalization of Bureaucracy through the Salaman application on the Digital Literacy Level in the City of Bandung.
