Abstract
Feminism has a sense of a movement that demands the similarity of the rights of women and men in the field of political, social, and economic. The feminism movement at the moment focuses on removal of thermalized discrimination and oppression in the political, social, and economic field due to gender, race, class, and others. Masculinity is a form of construction that determines the nature of women and men. At this time, many movies apply feminism genre. One of them is a movie entitled Enola Holmes 2020. The film tells the masculinity of women who should have feminine and graceful nature, the main figures in the film are contrary to the feminine properties. Therefore, the authors focus on researching the role of women's character in Enola Holmes movie to the ladies of emancipation and how the dominance form of women's masculinity shown by the main character in Enola Holmes movie. This research uses qualitative descriptive method to collect data. Then, the researcher used Judith Halberstam (1998) theory of Female Masculinity. Based on the results, it was found that there is a discourse of emancipation and masculine dominance of women which can be found in several characters, i.e. freedom of choice and action, equality of rights in a socio-cultural context, as well as the denial of inter-gender stigma
