There were, taking the floor (21 data) found, consist of starting up (5 data), taking over (12 data), and interrupting (4 data). In addition, holding the floor (25 data) found, consist of filled pause and verbal fillers (8 data), silent pause (6 data), and lexical repetition (11 data). The last strategy, yielding the floor six (6 data) found, consist of prompting (2 data), and appealing (4 data). Meanwhile, for the function of turn taking strategies (32 data) found. Those are, the function of taking the floor (15 data), the function of holding the floor (12 data), and the function of yielding the floor (5 data). The function of turn taking strategies itself is to make the conversation flow well. From the findings, it can be concluded that among the three types of turn taking strategy, holding the floor was the most found. It means that the topic of discussion in this conversation is about Bill Gates’life as a billionaire, with his habbit including the thing that he cares the most, there is also about his journey to be a youngest billionaire, his foundation, his vehicles, his planning. So, between Ellen and Bill Gates are more careful in speaking so that they use a lot of filled pause and verbal filler, silent pause, lexical repetition. However, the use of holding the floor does not make the information reduced, they explain each other and discuss well and informative.
