Abstract
Employee Relations merupakan salah satu upaya perusahaan untuk menciptakan dan menjaga hubungan kerja yang baik antara manajemen dengan para karyawannya. PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung mengadakan berbagai kegiatan employee relations yang dikelola dengan baik untuk memenuhi hak para karyawan, agar dapat terjalin hubungan positif di antara kedua belah pihak, sehingga dapat membangun kepercayaan satu sama lain, mendorong motivasi kerja, loyalitas, dan produktivitas karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengelolaan Kegiatan Employee Relations di PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung melalui konsep fungsi manajemen POSDC yang digagas oleh Koontz dan O’Donnell. Konsep ini menjadi landasan dan fokus dalam penelitian ini, yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, dan Controlling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian secara rinci, dan berdasarkan paradigma konstruktivistik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi partisipan pasif dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung sebagai perusahaan penyedia layanan kelistrikan, melakukan Pengelolaan Kegiatan Employee Relations dengan konsep fungsi manajemen POSDC oleh Koontz dan O’Donnell melalui lima tahap yang digunakan, yaitu: (1) Planning, yang berfokus pada menentukan tujuan kegiatan dan menentukan langkah kegiatan, (2) Organizing, yang berfokus pada pembagian kerja dan pengalokasian sumber daya, (3) Staffing yang berfokus pada penempatan karyawan dan pelatihan/pengembangan karyawan, (4) Directing, yang berfokus pada pemberian instruksi dan pemberian motivasi untuk (5) Controlling, yang berfokus pada melakukan monitoring dan melakukan evaluasi untuk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung dalam menjalankan operasionalnya memperhatikan hubungannya dengan para karyawan melalui pengelolaan kegiatan employee relations dengan konsep fungsi manajemen POSDC Koontz dan O’Donnell. ENGLISH: Employee Relations is one of the company's efforts to create and maintain good working relationships between management and its employees. PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung holds various employee relations activities that are well managed to fulfill employee rights, so that a positive relationship can be established between the two parties, so that they can build trust in each other, encourage work motivation, loyalty, and employee productivity. This study aims to determine how Employee Relations Activities are Managed at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung through the POSDC management function concept initiated by Koontz and O'Donnell. This concept is the basis and focus of this study, which consists of five stages, namely Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, and Controlling. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that describes the research results in detail, and is based on a constructivist paradigm. The study was conducted by collecting data through passive participant observation and in-depth interviews. The results of this study explain that PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung as an electricity service provider company, carries out Employee Relations Activity Management with the POSDC management function concept by Koontz and O'Donnell through five stages used, namely: (1) Planning, which focuses on determining activity objectives and determining activity steps, (2) Organizing, which focuses on the division of labor and allocation of resources, (3) Staffing which focuses on employee placement and employee training/development, (4) Directing, which focuses on providing instructions and providing motivation for (5) Controlling, which focuses on monitoring and evaluating for. Based on the results of the study, it is known that PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung in carrying out its operations pays attention to its relationship with employees through employee relations activity management with the POSDC management function concept by Koontz and O'Donnell.
