Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan stres akademik siswa yang sekolah di sekolah umum dengan siswa yang sekolah di sekolah berbasis islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian komparatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan ialah purposive sampling.Subjek penelitian ini merupakan siswa yang berusia 13-16 tahun sebanyak 160 siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Student Life Stress Inventory (SSI).. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan uji T terdapat angka signifikan sebesar 0,507 dan 0,508 artinya bahwa tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan stres akademik antara siswa remaja pada sekolah umum dan sekolah berbasis islam. Hasil lain menunjukkan bahwa siswa remaja pada sekolah umum terdapat 2 orang termasuk dalam kategori stres berat, 48 orang masuk ke dalam kategori sedang, dan 22 orang masuk ke dalam kategori rendah.. Sedangkan pada siswa sekolah berbasis islam terdapat 1 orang masuk ke dalam kategori berat, 61 orang masuk ke dalam kategori sedang, dan 26 orang masuk ke dalam kategori rendah. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in academic stress between students who attend public schools and students who attend Islamic schools. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a comparative research design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The subjects of this study were 160 students aged 13-16 years. The instrument in this study used the Student Life Stress Inventory (SSI). From the results of the analysis using the T test, there were significant figures of 0.507 and 0.508, meaning that there was no significant difference in academic stress between adolescent students in public schools and Islamic schools. Other results showed that there were 2 adolescent students in public schools included in the severe stress category, 48 people entered the moderate category, and 22 people entered the low category. Meanwhile, in Islamic school students there were 1 person entered the severe category, 61 people entered the moderate category, and 26 people entered the low category.
