Abstract

INDONESIA: Masalah kedisiplinan menjadi tantangan yang dapat menghambat proses belajar dan pencapaian akademik. Masalah ini terjadi diberbagai sekolah, tidak terkecuali di tingkat Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh regulasi dari dan parental Involvement terhadap kedisiplinan siswa MTs Y Majalengka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan sifat kausalitas dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Sebanyak 249 siswa teribat sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini dan dikumpulkan melalui teknik convinience sampling. Hasi dari penelitian ini menunjukan adanya pengaruh simultan dari regulasi diri dan parental involvement terhadap kedisiplinan dengan nilai F = 23.726 dan p=0.000 (<0.05). Secara parsial, regulasi berpengaruh terhadap kedisiplinan dengan nilai p = 0.000 (<0.05). Sedangkan parental involvement tidak berpengaruh terhadap kedisiplinan dengan nilai p = 0.066 (>0.05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan siswa lebih ditentukan oleh kemampuan mereka dalam mengatur diri, bukan oleh tingkat keterlibatan orang tua dalam aktivitas pendidikan. ENGLISH: Discipline issues can hinder the learning process and academic achievement. This problem occurs in various schools, including Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) institutions. This study aims to investigate the influence of self-regulation and parental involvement on student discipline at MTs Y Majalengka. A quantitative correlational approach with a causal nature was employed, utilizing multiple linear regression analysis techniques. A total of 249 students were sampled for this study using convenience sampling techniques. The results indicate that self-regulation and parental involvement simultaneously influence discipline, with values of F=23.726 and p= 0.000 (<0.05). Self-regulation partially influences discipline, with P= 0.000 (<0.05); meanwhile, parental involvement does not influence discipline with P=0.066 (>0.05). These findings suggest that student discipline is more influenced by their ability to self-regulate than by the level of parental involvement in educational activities.
