Abstract
Hubungan internal menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam menjaga keberlangsungan organisasi, khususnya lembaga pendidikan. Dinamika komunikasi internal di MAN 2 Kab. Bandung memperlihatkan adanya permasalahan berupa rendahnya pemahaman dan respon pemangku kepentingan terhadap informasi yang disampaikan melalui media resmi sekolah, terutama pada grup whatsapp. Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan kendala dalam penyebaran informasi serta risiko terjadinya miskomunikasi antar guru, staf, dan pihak internal lainnya. Peran praktisi humas dalam hal ini menjadi sentral untuk menciptakan komunikasi yang efektif, harmonis, dan membangun lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada peran praktisi Humas dalam menekankan pentingnya strategi komunikasi dengan menciptakan pemahaman bersama dan memperkuat kolaborasi di lingkungan madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan program hubungan internal melalui tiga elemen utama, yakni teknik komunikasi yang menyenangkan, prinsip komunikasi dua arah, serta komunikasi interpersonal berdasarkan teori Internal Relations Programs. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah paradigma konstruktivistik dan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan informan kunci, utama, dan pendukung yang terlibat langsung dalam aktivitas humas MAN 2 Kab. Bandung, serta dilengkapi dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sehingga hasil yang diperoleh dapat menggambarkan secara utuh peran praktisi humas dalam membangun hubungan internal di madrasah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktisi humas MAN 2 Kab. Bandung berperan aktif dalam mengatasi hambatan komunikasi internal dengan menerapkan pendekatan yang kreatif dan partisipatif. Teknik komunikasi yang menyenangkan dilakukan melalui penyampaian pesan yang sederhana, santai, hingga diselingi humor serta pemanfaatan media digital yang fleksibel seperti WhatsApp, media internal sekolah, hingga rapat internal. Prinsip komunikasi dua arah terwujud melalui keterlibatan guru dan staf dalam memberikan masukan serta klarifikasi, sehingga komunikasi menjadi lebih partisipatif dan transparan. Komunikasi interpersonal mampu menciptakan suasana yang akrab, terbuka, dan saling menghargai sehingga memperkuat solidaritas serta rasa saling memiliki. Peran praktisi humas secara signifikan dapat menciptakan hubungan internal yang lebih harmonis, efektif, dan mendukung tercapainya visi dan misi MAN 2 Kab. Bandung. Internal relations are one of the essential aspects in maintaining the sustainability of an organization, particularly within educational institutions. The dynamics of internal communication at MAN 2 Kab. Bandung reveal challenges such as the low level of understanding and response from stakeholders toward information delivered through the school’s official media, especially via whatsapp groups. This condition creates obstacles in information dissemination and increases the risk of miscommunication among teachers, staff, and other internal parties. The role of public relations practitioners becomes central in this context to establish effective, harmonious communication and foster a conducive working environment. This study focuses on the role of PR practitioners in emphasizing the importance of communication strategies by creating shared understanding and strengthening collaboration within the madrasah environment. This research aims to analyze the implementation of internal relations programs through three main elements, namely engaging communication techniques, the principle of two-way communication, and interpersonal communication, based on the Internal Relations Programs theory. The research applied a constructivist paradigm with a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with key, main, and supporting informants directly involved in public relations activities at MAN 2 Kab. Bandung, complemented by observation and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing to provide a comprehensive picture of the role of PR practitioners in building internal relations in the madrasah. The findings indicate that PR practitioners at MAN 2 Kab. Bandung play an active role in addressing internal communication barriers by applying creative and participatory approaches. Engaging communication techniques are carried out through simple, casual, and humorous message delivery, as well as the utilization of flexible digital media such as WhatsApp, school internal media, and internal meetings. The principle of two-way communication is realized through the involvement of teachers and staff in providing feedback and clarification, making communication more participatory and transparent. Interpersonal communication foster an atmosphere of closeness, openness, and mutual respect, thereby strengthening solidarity and a sense of belonging. The role of PR practitioners significantly contributes to creating more harmonious and effective internal relations that support the achievement of MAN 2 Kab. Bandung’s vision and mission.
