Abstract

INDONESIA: Literasi halal dan pemahaman konsep diperlukan oleh peserta didik agar dapat mengaplikasikan pemahaman mereka dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis model PjBL berbasis etno-STREAM terhadap literasi halal dan pemahaman konsep pada materi sistem imun. Metode yang digunakan quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design dalam bentuk pre-test dan post-test control goup design. Teknik pengumpulan data dan analisis data meliputi lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, soal pilihan ganda dan uraian meliputi materi sistem imun dengan indikator literasi halal dan pemahaman konsep, rubrik beserta lembar observasi asesmen kinerja produk, dan lembar refleksi siswa serta catatan lapangan. Sampel dipilih melalui purposive sampling terdiri dari 32 orang kelas regular dan 31 orang kelas eksperimen di salah satu MA Kota Bandung. Keterlaksanaan aktivitas siswa dan guru keseluruhan mencapai kriteria sangat baik pada setiap tahapannya. Peningkatan literasi halal dan pemahaman konsep unggul di kelas eksperimen mencapai skor n-gain berturut-turut 0,45 dan 0,82 dengan indikator paling unggul pada literasi halal yaitu menerapkan keterampilan penelitian untuk menganalisis informasi kehalalan, sementara pada pemahaman konsep yaitu memberikan contoh. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas dengan taraf 0,01 pada keterampilan literasi halal dan 0,00 pada pemahaman konsep sistem imun. Hasil asesmen kinerja dan produk 60% siswa mendapat kriteria sangat baik sementara 40% lainnya mendapat kriteria baik. Refleksi siswa setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan PjBL berbasis etno-STREAM menunjukkan kategori penilaian dengan interpretasi tinggi dengan rata-rata 3,63. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan model PjBL berbasis etno-STREAM berpengaruh terhadap literasi halal dan pemahaman konsep sistem imun siswa. Penerapan model PjBL berbasis etno-STREAM dapat digunakan untuk membekalkan literasi halal dan pemahaman konsep sistem imun siswa. ENGLISH: Halal literacy and conceptual understanding are necessary for students to apply their understanding in daily life in accordance with religious values. The purpose of this study is to analyze the ethno-STREAM-based PjBL model on halal literacy and conceptual understanding in immune system material. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design in the form of a pre-test and post-test control group design. Data collection and analysis techniques included implementation observation sheets, multiple-choice and essay questions covering immune system material with indicators of halal literacy and conceptual understanding, rubrics along with product performance assessment observation sheets, student reflection sheets, and field notes. The sample was selected through purposive sampling consisting of 32 regular class students and 31 experimental class students at a senior high school in Bandung. The implementation of student and teacher activities overall achieved excellent criteria at each stage. The increase in halal literacy and conceptual understanding in the experimental class reached n-gain scores of 0.45 and 0.82, respectively, with the most outstanding indicator in halal literacy being the application of research skills to analyze halal information, while in conceptual understanding it was giving examples. There was a significant difference between the two classes at a level of 0.01 in halal literacy skills and 0.00 in understanding of the immune system concept. The results of the performance and product assessment showed that 60% of students achieved a very good rating, while the remaining 40% achieved a good rating. Student reflections after implementing PjBL-based ethno-STREAM learning showed a high assessment category with an average of 3.63. The research results indicate that the implementation of the ethno-STREAM-based PjBL model has an impact on students' halal literacy and understanding of the immune system concept. The implementation of the ethno-STREAM-based PjBL model can be used to equip students with halal literacy and understanding of the immune system concept.
